Surveyor Claus is Coming to Town

You better set right,
You better not bump,
Better not bust
I’m telling you why,
Surveyor Claus is coming to town.

He’s reviewing a cut list,
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out who’s sloppy at math,
Surveyor Claus is coming to town.

He sees you when you’re traversing,
He knows when you’re on line,
He knows where you set that stake,
So pay attention for goodness sake!

Oh! You better set right,
You better not bump,
Better not bust
I’m telling you why,
Surveyor Claus is coming to town!

If it’s any consolation to you, it’s the middle’ish of summer here at 17deg south, somewhere in the Pacific sub-tropics, and the supermarkets and other stores are pumping out those cheery ditties like “… sleigh bells ring … ” and there’s painted frosting of snow and cotton wool snowmen displays in the windows. Grrrr.

Ahhhhhh Christmas in a t shirt, shorts and barefeets. Perfect!
Too early to tell in “The Republic of Weird People” what the weather for Christmas will be. The way things have been we’re sure to break a record one way or the other. 😎

Love it. But I do miss the rhyme in the 3rd verse and would suggest:He sees …He knows where you set that stake.
