Update: The launch was delayed until that Saturday (October 31), but was successfully launched. It will commence operation upon completion of testing.

The United States Air Force is set to launch the Atlas 5rocketinto orbit on Friday, October 30, 2015. The Atlas 5 will carry the GPS 2F-11navigation satellite into orbit and will ascendfrom Cape Canaveral’s Complex 41 launch pad at 12:17pm Eastern Daylight Time.

This will be the third Atlas 5 launch in October.
