yeah- it missed us- East glacier and other places got buried though.
Outside my kitchen window while I await the mystical magic of my aeropress.
Looking forward to Sunday services and a day of drafting afterward.

If you must roll out at 5:30 a.m. to make it to church on time, you are either REALLY slow or you need to find a church that meets at a sensible hour. I am really slow so I would have to find a different church that agreed with my 8:00 a.m. awakening on Sunday.
AND…????????…keep that white crap in your backyard, not mine. I have soybeans in desperate need of every ray of sunshine and every day above freezing.
Yeah I would take a little of that…93 here is StL today.

8:00 a.m. awakening
“Awakening”? as in like a vision or something, or do you mean you can REALLY sleep until 8:00 am? Hell, 8:00 am? Sun’s been up since 6:00 am, you retired? ????
Late evenings are ideal working hours. I am alert and ready to get it done. Anything before 8:00 a.m. is suspect if I must be involved.
Your 11:00 p.m. news is our 10:00 p.m. news. By 10:35 I am cranked and ready to move some mountains while you other folk are sawing logs and chasing beautiful unicorns.
I was up doing stuff- Mrs.File out of town for a few days, so I have a few household chores – breakfast to make and just enjoy some quiet before the 8 year old who??s never had a un-uttered thought gets up…. gonna be a late one tonight- went to Dickey??s after church for lunch, than needed a nap that was 1 hr longer than planned- got up to make a cup of coffee and start drafting and managed to have an Aeropress malfunction that spilled all over the counter, down into the Jenn-air -(I didn??t cuss even once) that turned into a clean the whole kitchen and cook top (I hate that thing) affair- then fix supper- so my afternoon drafting project is turning into a late evening drafting project. And we are starting to have some snow drift down abit. Monday came early….
We have had so little rain in the past few months I wish we would get about 5 feet of snow.
No you don’t- not really…
Oh yes, yes I do. Have you ever seen news of snow storms in the south? It would be all the talk for weeks and would be glorious. Instead of a barrage of political crap it would be about snow, so please pray to the snow gods and make it happen.
I don’t have a snow shovel so it would stay there and melt. I doubt they even sell snow shovels around here.
Rankin, did you finally get dumped on?
We got lots of rain but it never quite turned into the frozen stuff. Expecting some tonight, hopefully nothing that stays beyond a day.
I have two mountain jobs to finish, and dang it, it can hold off long enough for my personal schedule!!!!
Nothing but a little rain here. The Geezers are working at just over 9800 today, and they tell me that the skiff of snow where they are at is already gone on the ridge and South facing slope, and doesn’t amount to much on the North Facing slopes in the timber.
Loyal
Noir spit snow for about 5 hrs but nothing was on the ground this morning except the cold spots, etc. It was a sunny afternoon here. I’m in no hurry for winter- got plenty of time left for that…
We got back home on Friday from our 12-day trip to SLC (Bingham Canyon Copper Mine, Surveyors Historical Society), Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody museums, Little Big Horn, Devil’s Tower, SD Badlands and more. We had some rain while on the road but it never interfered with sightseeing.
Sure glad it wasn’t snow.
.Sure glad I left the Intermountain West a long time ago. Those September and May snow storms are hard to take. I prefer the Mid West. Flat and boring.
