After a decade or more of placing "Sheet 1 of 1" at the top of my single page Record of Surveys, I now have a correction from the county stating, at the county recorder's insistence, that I must place "Sheet 1 of 1 Sheet" at the top of my map.
I feel "Sheet 1 of 1 Sheet" sounds funny and is improper English.
That sounds like a bunch of Sheet.
Are they a Map Checker or an English Teacher?
Ask for the statute reference requiring that.
It does sound silly, but pick your battles.....
