I have researched on line. I believe I have identified the records I need. Since I am not able to go in person I am told that I need to hire a researcher. Any help you can offer is welcomed

Number is not in service??? I understand paying for someone to slave over a hot scanner all day. I just do not understand why I need to hire  an outside consultant to do it?  sheesh....

Not really surprised, although 2013 didn't seem like all that long ago (to me anyway). Oh Well.

I used David Pfeiffer last October to get some Railroad maps.  He gave a presentation at the NYSAPLS Conference in 2018.  He scanned and emailed me the maps, everything went smoothly and he got me what I needed.

If it is an active railroad have you tried going with the railroad? It may seem hi but might be cheaper than the archives.
