well – I WAS in the forest and it WAS raining….
the Idaho line in NW Montana is as close as we get to a rainforest around here.
.
Last night after limbing thru those cedars- Mrs. File said I smelled like a Christmas wreath and she liked it. :blush:Additionally pockets of temperate rainforest occur in dreary climates that are not categorized by just annual precipitation but also number of cloudy days as well as number of days of measurable precipitation in the form of rain or snow. In Western North America outside the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia Mountains of British Columbia (BC), northern Idaho and northwestern Montana, have more of a continental climate and have pockets of temperate coniferous rainforest.
Under cover, once the leaves and needles of the trees get soaked, you might as well be inside a building, the reception goes away.
The signal is basically bouncing all over the place.Rankin_File, post: 450635, member: 101 wrote: Spent yesterday out west. It quit raining at about 10 am and the grass finally out about 1pm.
