Isn’t it possible to import excel files into Autocadd?
I don’t do a lot of this kind of work; but I do remember someone saying something about this…
I hope everyone has a great day; I know I will!Yes it is possible.
Not sure about other software, but C3D will let you add a dynamic table with the TABLE command, with a data link to an excel spreadsheet. Edit the spreadsheet and refresh in CAD.
“…people will come to love their oppression, to adore the technologies that undo their capacities to think.” -Neil PostmanI used to do it with AutoCAD R 14. The technical term is OLE (Object Linking & Embedding).
MHwhat is a grassing table?
It is a table for seed and sod and what kinds of weather conditions it grows good in, drought tolerance, if it is seed it describes the mixture and how many pounds per 1000 s.f.. Very detailed and every pdf I have results in unreadable blurry images when I try to bring it in so I have been making them.
Quite time consuming and as a result I am now imbibing in Wild Turkey.
Tried it but the source documents suck.
I have scrounge up some from others but it is a tough slog.
