Control Adjustment Tolerance
A three wire level run closed out within 0.008, given random and rounding errors in approximately 3500 ft. This is well within the given minimum technical standard but it got me thinking.
With techniques out there for proportioning the error, is it worth it? For time and accuracy sake I think not unless the control was to be at a given precision for the project. For general third order conventional levelling I don’t think adjusting turning points for .008 is worth it. Do you?
