I did not know that. Thank you.
I also use Alt-0177 for the ?ñ. I like it better than doing +/- or using AutoCAD’s symbol.
try alt 241 instead its faster
Use insert – symbols, find the degree symbol and assign it to a key stroke you like. I have mine assigned to “alt^”.

You can reassign symbols to any shortcut that works for you.
I’m usually typing the numbers in with my right hand on the number pad, so I assigned
Degrees: Ctrl+11
Minutes: Ctrl+22
Seconds: Ctrl+33
There are a whole slew of symbols inside Windows fonts.
At the Windows Cortana search or RUN type “character map”.
You should see this image below. Click on your desired symbol, click SELECT, then click COPY. Now paste into your Word file.
Change font for more symbols.
