Hadn’t thought of that ditty in at least 55 years. Perfect song for ornery boyz in the early grades of their education. Especially if several of them decide to serenade the rest of the class while in session.

wow- that’s a song that i don’t remember the wheres and hows of learning it (and i’m not yet 55), only that it pops into my head every once in a while but somehow has never triggered the google impulse.
Hope Tom Glazer didn’t give up his daytime job. ????

This really means: “With any luck, I’ll have it up and think it’s running correctly sometime tomorrow…”
well, ok, there’s the rabbit hole.
obviously didn’t realize he was behind this one. this is one of the songs that my girls will conjure from arrested memories when they’re my age:
You can expect to spend the next week responding to pop up questions and suggestions: “Do you want me to set this as the default program? … I can make this easier for you if I … ?”, etc. After it’s been driving you nutty for a week with these helpful suggestions, it will settle down and allow you to work (mostly) uninterrupted.
I saw a Windows 98 HP Pavilion on sale over the local Trading post that I am going to check out this coming weekend.
If you want to keep any computer the way it is when you finally got everything you want on it and like it, mirror your hard drive onto another hard drive or SSD, swap them out and hide the original away and unplug it from the internet FOREVER.
