Can anyone tell me how get a Carlson centerline file into an xml file so that it can be imported into either TBC or a Trimble tablet using Access?

I'm pretty sure I brought a .cl file into a TSC2 that was using Survey Contoller a few years ago and then elevate the alignment accordingly. Both TBC and Trimble Access seem to be rejecting the file.

I’m not sure if Carlson has a way to export an RXL file but that’s is what we export from C3D through the Trimble link toolbar.

It's part of the export routine which I believe is under the file menu. It can export an rxl or XML but beware if you're exporting multiple roads. Trimble Access will only see the last road in a multi road rxl file from Carlson but with XML it sees all roads in the file. The work around is to create a separate rxl for each road.

Never let someone owe you more than you can afford to lose.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. Stephen, I don't know how I missed it under the file tab  🤔 I looked there too 🙂

Have a good day!
