Rip to Larry Phipps.

Surveying is more than a Job----it is a passion to provide a foundation for future generation, that is beyond reproach.

I bought several courses and sets of calculator programs from Larry, and he was always an entertaining and honest guy to do business with. I've wondered about how he was doing for many months, and am very saddened to hear the news.  I wish his family every possible consolation.

Larry specifically requested that everyone perform a deed or deeds of kindness
for someone else, outside of family and outside of your normal routine, and
remember him.

I think about Larry a lot; whenever someone brings up pricing a survey, I remember what he taught us about the VALUE of the survey. It's helped me a lot; when talking to clients or potential clients. They're adding value to their property...

He will be missed!

Truly sad news, only had the pleasure of speaking with him 2 or 3 times, but learned from each occasion.

I talked with Larry a few times on the phone.  We had a few conversations about me coming to work for his employer.  I certainly hate to see him gone.

I met him at a SAMSOG seminar in Savannah. He was a fine gentleman in the truest sense of the word. He was what every human being should aspire to be. RIP

Larry; "Your client won't know your value unless you tell them."  And, "You don't have to participate in the race to the bottom."  He was a great speaker and person.
