NC VRS positional tolerances
Just curious if anyone else in NC has noticed above normal horizontal positional errors during multiple occupations using RTN? This is in clear fields with no multipath and pole has been checked from plumb. SOP has been (2) 90s shots with pole spun 180 and a repeat observation 4 hours later or next day. Since 2015, I have not personally noticed multiple shots being greater than 0.10?? (in clear sky), normally 0.05′ or less. Now I have been getting upwards of 0.20?? difference. This is same day occupations and returning to undisturbed control points from 1-2 years ago. Is this typical in other states? Any insight on why or tips to reduce error would be appreciated.
