I'm having trouble locating some topics that I know were discussed at one point in time. However, I cannot seem to come up with a query that returns the desired results.

I'm subject matter I'm looking for is about plats and descriptions and more particularly, how some title companies don't file the plat with the description.

Queries I've tried (all with and without quotes)

  • plat and description
  • plat missing from record
  • plat not filed with description

The search function also returns results that have the word "a" if you include it in the search terms in quotes or not.

As I'm not sure what thread(s) you are actually searching for, the queries above are what you should be getting. If you are getting anything less, make sure you uncheck the "search this forum only" to search all forums.

That said, there is a higher end search module available for this forum, but I did not purchase it in order to save on funds.

You can search any site without needing a fancy search box on that site.

Google entry
site:rplstoday.com title company plat not filed with description

results in a bunch of hits, with these looking most promising for you, although I didn't look deeply into the content::

or type "unrecorded" in the search box and uncheck the "search this forum only" box.
