The Western Chapter of the VAS would like to invite you to an 8-hour
Educational Seminar (PDH's/CEU's) for Land Surveyors

Morning Session (4-hour CEU):
“The APELSCIDLA Board... the 4-1-1 on the Board and the DPOR Disciplinary Process”
Instructors: Doug Schroder, Director of Adjudication; Doyle Allen, L.S., Land Surveyor Board Member; Kate Nosbisch, Executive Director
Topics to be covered include:
- Following a complaint through the disciplinary process
- Board service - both sides of the coin (board member perspective and executive director perspective)
- Board meetings
- 2018 General Assembly session
- Proposed Regulations update
- Open book exams

Afternoon Sessions (Two 2-hour sessions CEU):
Instructor: Paul Brown, P.E., (VDOT)
Topic: Entrance Permits
Light refreshments and snacks in between sessions
Instructor: Ty Brady, L.S. (Tech Surveying, LLC)
Topic: Use of Latest Surveying Technology (Drones, JAVAD GNSS System)
Certificates will be provided. Please provide your name as it appears on your license and your preferred email address. A .PDF of your certificate will be emailed to you.
For the 8-hour CEU/PDH credit the prices are as follows:
VAS Members: $125.00 Non-VAS Members: $150.00
In order to provide the facility and instructors with an accurate headcount, please register
