Missing book…
Posted by jamesf1 on January 8, 2018 at 6:30 pmI used to own a copy of a study guide entitled “2345 Questions for Land Surveyors” or something similar. Has anyone heard of this? Or better yet know where I can obtain a copy? I either loaned it to someone who didn’t return it or else I am looking right at it and don’t see it…
Thanks!

I hear that. It’s hard to convince wives that that is a thing. (PS I have a copy of that book.)
I have the 1971 version, from when surveying was easier, there’s only 4300 review questions.

I was given a copy of that one by a fellow who had already passed the exam. When I got my license I passed it on to another candidate and I believe he passed it along after his licensure.

It wasn’t easier, it just took a little longer working them out by hand without a calculator and all.
Tom – My color blindness makes it all the more interesting…
ABEbooks.com (also owned by Amazon, but not all listings are on both websites) had a copy for just under $40 when I looked earlier. It could be the same book that was on Ebay though as that listing is gone. There are 3 Brinker surveying questions books listed but all for differing question amounts.
I’m just one of those evil GIS people. Bwah-hah-hah! Seriously, I do coordinate systems and transformations at Esri.
