Kansas State Specific Exam
Posted by stlsurveyor on December 21, 2017 at 11:27 amI received a letter yesterday that I have been approved to take the Kansas State Specific. So I turn to my buddies here for any advice on study material and advice? Test date will be Mid February.
Thanks in advance

I’d really get down where and under what circumstances things are filed. Also, what the county surveyor can and can’t do. Everything else was pretty standard PLSS with the exception of setting the C/4.
That’s good info. Thank you! The exam is a two part set-up. I assume it is very similar to the MO and AR test in format.
Bump…
Still looking and interested in any study material and suggestions. Thanks
Go to KSLS website and buy the Kansas Statutes Ring binder.
That is all I used. Went through it about 3 times.Great thank you for the advice. I saw the binder as an option glad to hear that is is worth the money.
Received the binder. Wow. That is one serious binder.
Well I found out today I passed! Pleasantly surprised, was a tough exam.
Guess that binder was a good buy! Congrats?
