Actually has adequate memory. Topoged a half a section (320 acres) input a grading model, without any trouble.
Surely someone needs a backup TSCe.
I’ll practically give it to you.
Hello, I dont know alot about this model, does your controller run Trimble Access? Does it run any differently on your controller?
Thank you.
Angel Sanchez
It has Trimble Survey Controller. Same as on a TSC2. It just has alot less memory on it. You have to clean off jobs every now and then. I don’t think it will run GNSS equipment. I used it with a Trimble 5800 system until I bought a Trimble S6 robot which required a TSC2. What would you use it for?
I also would like to know more about it. Please update me with more details. Thank you!
What kind of details do you want to know? It still works and the battery takes a charge. A TSC2 is so much better in the fact that it has a larger memory.
Angel, there’s a guy with a TSC1 with Asset Surveyor wanting to load Trimble Surveying on it. You two should get together.
Good morning.
How can I install Survey Controller in a TSC1 collector if it already has Asset Surveyor installed? You have to buy Asset Surveyor from Trimble . They probably have instructions on how to upload it. A TSC1 is so old there may not be a source available anymore.
Buying my TSCe and trading it to Angel would be a much cheaper and easier way to go.
And it’s cheap.
Does this controller have the support for the 5600 RTS series built into it or is it a GPS only controller? Thanks.
I’m pretty sure it’s GPS only. It’s a pretty simple data Collector. It has Trimble Survey Controller version 11.22 in it.
Lots of Spanish scammers on this website I think
Lol, at best je parle un peu de fran??ais tr??s mal, but I have never been accused of being Spanish. If it has the robotic module loaded, I could potentially be interested. We have a 5600 RTS, but nothing GPS wise that old from Trimble. Cheers!
Skeeter1996 – I could be wrong, but it is my recollection from the “old days” that the versions of Survey Controller that run on the TSCe will run the Trimble 5600 robotic total station – no separate robotic module required.
Try setting up a new Survey Style and see if the 5600 robot is shown as an option.
Connecting to the rover radio may be an issue but probably not insurmountable.

@glenn-borkenhagen
Yep, it lists 5600/3600
3300
3600 Elta CP
TTS 300/500
Under the instrument selections
It has the 5600/3600 in the instrument selection of the Survey Styles menu.
Few Q’s:
-colour screen?
-do you have the multi-adapter?
-if you do not have the multi-adapter, how did you last transfer data to and from it?
-last time it was charged?
-last equipment it was used with?
-touch screen work?
Thanks.
It has the color screen.
Not sure what the multi adapter is.
Transfered data using a nine pin to USB cord.
It’s charged up now. Battery holds charge.
- It was last used with a 5700/5800 GPS RTK system.
Touch screen works. Programs work. No apparent problems.
Compared to a TSC3 it’s pretty slow responding.
