I've got a Trimble 5700/5800 GPS RTK system I'd like to pass on to  someone. I'm willing to make a sweet deal. the batteries are just deteriorating while it  sits in my shop. While it isn't GNSS I used it in the trees using innovative offsets techneques. It comes with 4 batteries a Trimble 5700 unit, a Trimble 5800 unit 2 Trimmark3 radios, I used one for a repeater. Cases for the 5700, 5800, and radios Both radios are narrow banded, base antenna and repeater antenna, Trimble Geomatic Office with Wave and Adjust modules. A TSC2 with Survey Controller Version 12 and spare battery. All chargers for TSC2 and batteries. Combination cord for using a wet  cell battery to power one radio and the 5700 base unit. Depending on the selling price I would deliver and train the buyer in its use. I upgraded to Trimble R10s. This system can't compete with the R10's but the price would be considerably less. A great one man shop setup or someone just starting an office. Great Setup for construction staking. Give me a buzz and lets talk turkey. Trimble was taking old GPS systems in trade for new R10 purchases. Here's an opportunity to save some bucks there. Thanks for looking and we'll leave the light on.

This might be just the thing for the Slovenian guy in Massachusetts that posted a few days ago.

A Javad would probably more appropriate for a scammer that's not interested in accuracy.  The price would be more acceptable. Did you really think that guy was real? Is there really a place other than in SNL called Slovenia or Massachusetts? By the way, no cashier's checks accepted. Probably wouldn't work real well in Oregon. Keep clearing that line!

5700s were fine in Oregon for static. But we rarely ever really tried to do RTK in PDX until GLONASS came along.

Slovenia is a part of the former Yugoslavia. Sure, its real. I worked for 2 1/2 years for a guy who came from Romania. During that time I met plenty of Romanian, and other eastern European, emigrees in our the area. And its just the sort of thing they would do. So, yes. I believe the story.  There are no more capitalistic people in the world than these former communist bloc people.

Are you for real?

I think that's not a well founded statement.

I'll have a Slovenian houseguest next weekend, the wife of my nephew.  And you're probably all familiar with another Slovenian:  Melania Trump.

I know there is a Slovenia and Massachusetts. I was just trying to use a little humor to attract the wolves to keep my ad on top. Mission accomplished. Javad is still a scam however.

Trimble 5700 and 5800's are an ironclad system. I never had any problems at all with this system. The 5800 has fallen and been taken for a jolting ride on an ATV and never missed a beat. You'll not get into a RTK system any cheaper than this setup.

That statement is just not true. Javad Ashjaee is a fine person.

If the Javad Triumph-LS is a scam, then I need to invest in more scams.

Not much interest in older GPS equipment. If it wasn't for the Javad wolves I would have not any posts at all?

Would this system work on a VRS (CORS) network?  We have a nice CORS network in Wisconsin, and that would help eliminate the need for someone to guard the base station.
