That being said…
Posted by not-my-real-name on March 9, 2020 at 4:24 pmI remember when you had to be smart and be able to form phrases and sentences from your own thoughts. The language of original thought was always beautiful and something to be admired. Meaningless corporate buzz words and catch phrases do not gain any admiration with me. People are on their way to becoming an army of mindless robots.

…at the end of the day…at this moment in time…going forward…the list is almost endless. I can remember a project where several people who had traveled great distances met for the first time on a bridge over a very large river and one person told us that he had come to make sure everyone was on the same page. “The same page?”, we all asked. He was never seen or heard from again.
Historic Boundaries and Conservation EffortsI have a friend that interjects conversations constantly with “how much she has on her plate”. Makes me wanna scream.
I’m also a bit leery of folks that “are going to be perfectly honest” with me. I told one fella if he has to qualify a statement as ‘honest’ I’m going to assume everything else is B.S.
Yada yada yada.
I’ve started to semi-hate ‘it is what it is”. WHAT is what WHAT is?! Totally asinine saying…
@bstrand I agree. It is how really dumb people pretend to be smart. Ha ha.
Historic Boundaries and Conservation EffortsSSSSwinggggg and a miss.

The truth.
@dallas-morlan That’s the truth. And good Old Pogo was a Georgia boy, as was Walt Kelly.
Andy
Copy that!
And Walt Kelly took a very serious interest in engineering. He was instrumental in improved mechanization for fruit harvest.
